While sipping on a cheap champagne (I've had my share of champagne and believe me, this was crap) which I decided not to even finish, we started chatting with another couple who too had been waiting for about 45 min and in their case, they didn't know when they would get their table. By the way, our table wasn't quite ready, yet. Did the sun just shine on me? Did my lady luck suddenly decide to stop torturing me? Apparently, there was a gentleman with this enormous tray with glasses and glasses and glasses filled with champagne distributing it to every single person who had been waiting for their table. As I approached the wait staff, again the same girl said oh we were about to text you. Waiting 1 hour and 17 minutes with no text and no clue of when we will get the table is just bullshit. I know we'll get the refund back but this was ridiculous. Finally at 11:07, we decided screw this place. In my mind, I felt terrible and guilty for choosing this place to celebrate my wife's birthday. They have this big area with plenty of seats that are empty for people to wait and wait people were LOT OF THEM. Well 45 minutes too late for the pretty response but nevertheless went back with my folks to wait till one person realized hey, we don't have to wait by the door. Asked a second and third time and finally, an apology came out and then something around the lines people are having a lot of fun here just like you will be when you get your table. Instead, the response was something like yes this is a very popular place so it gets overbooked.

I was pissed but held my calm and politely asked if you don't mind telling me, what's the point of making a reservation for a set time and not being able to get a table 45 minutes after waiting? The response I got though was a bit shocking no apology of any kind. 2nd Follow up at 10:15 same At 10:30 (45 minutes into the wait), I went myself again and politely asked. You could have directed us to a big open waiting area or recommended us to start by going to the bar to grab a drink (Mr owner, lack of training here.that's lost revenue) but you just ended the conversation.

I will however hold you up to your attitude where you had a smirk on your face and just ended the conversation with you don't know how long. It certainly is not your fault the table is not ready and it's also certainly not your fault that you don't know how long the wait might be. You are aware your guests were charged money to hold the reservation. From a customer service stand point, this was strike 1. I politely asked if they had any idea on how long it might be and they said they they didn't know how long it would be. Were told there's a wait and that they would text us once our table was ready. They charge a $35 to hold the reservation ($175 for the 5 of us) to be taken off the final bill (I think this may be something more restaurants are beginning to do) and the reservation on opentable came as one option only: Experience (I'd say it was a lack of a good one) We made the reservation for 9:45 pm. Made a reservation here to celebrate my wife's birthday with 3 other close friends. For $500 including tip, this place was absolutely not worth the hype. It seems there are plenty of people out there who have had a very different experience so I'm not writing this to deter you from going here but just need to point out what we experienced. I'll start by saying this was my experience.
